About

Annie holds a Bachelor of Music Performance (Hons. I) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where she studied under the guidance of Natalia Ricci. She has also completed international summer courses in Switzerland, Mozarteum University Salzburg and Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar. Over the years, she has played in masterclasses for renowned pianists and teachers such as Dominique Merlet, Grigory Gruzman, Boris Berman, Alessio Bax, amongst others.

Annie was the winner of the SCM Piano Concerto Competition (2020), a first prizewinner in the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition (2019), winner of the Theme and Variations Piano Foundation Award (2018) and Sutherland and St George Youth Music Awards (2016). She has also been awarded the University of Sydney’s Mary Charlton Prize and the Winifred Margaret Neirous Award for achieving the highest recital marks. Annie has been a consistent recipient of various music scholarships including the Sydney Scholars Award, Clarence Addison Turill Scholarship and PJV & MAH Cromack Memorial Scholarship.

Annie has appeared as a soloist in notable venues such as Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall, the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall and has given performances abroad in New Zealand, Germany and Switzerland. She has been invited to perform as part of the Encuentro Españoles Spanish Music Festival, Tiromoana Summer Concert Series, Arts Bundanoon Music @ 11 Series, at St Jude’s Bowral, Wollongong Art Gallery and playing frequently for the Sutherland Music Club. Performance highlights include a concerto appearance of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No 2 with the SCM Symphony Orchestra. At present, Annie continues to be a regular recitalist in Sydney.
